Maldives have won 3 significant awards at the World Travel Awards Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony.
Maldives won the prestigious position of the Indian Ocean's Leading Beach Destination, Indian Ocean's Leading Dive Destination and Indian Ocean's Leading Honeymoon Destination at the Annual World Travel Awards; Africa and Indian Ocean held at Sugar Beach in Mauritius on June 1. Maldives once again secured the prestigious position after fierce competition with Africa and Indian Ocean's top tourist destinations such as Seychelles and Mauritius.
