Secretariat of Maldives Parliament has revealed Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will address a parliament sitting on June 8.
Speaking at a press conference, Secretary General Fathimath Niusha said Modi will address the parliament on June 8 at around 1845 hours. She said the special sitting will be attended by cabinet ministers, senior government officials and ambassadors residing in Maldives.
Maldives is the first country Prime Minister Modi is visiting following his re-election to a second term. Modi will visit Maldives at the end of the week.
