President appoints Deputy Minister for Economic Development

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Mariyam Nazima as Deputy Minister at Ministry of Economic Development.

Mariyam Nazima has formerly served as the President at the Employment Tribunal, Assistant Director General at the Ministry of Human Resources, Youth and Sports, Deputy Director at the Ministry of Higher Education, Employment and Social Security amongst many other positions. She has attained Masters in Human Resources Planning and Development from Institute of Applied Manpower Research Indraprastha Estate University in New Delhi, India and also attained Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from Curtin University of Technology, Australia.

Mariyam Nazima is the fourth Deputy Minister appointed at Ministry of Economic Development.
