Ministry of Health has held discussions with Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology (MCST) on networking the health institutes under one system. The discussions were held by Minister of Health Abdulla Ameen and Minister of Communication, Science and Technology Mohamed Maleeh Jamaal.
Commenting on the meeting, Minister of State at MCST Ali Solih said health ministry have updated the technical team of communications ministry on the current situation, adding a procedure has been noted down to digitalise the health ministry. The state minister said digitalising the health sector will ease works of all citizens.
Recently, the government began efforts to connect the health system under one network. Digitalising the health sector is a pledge included in the 100-day pledge policy of the administration.
