Fenaka Corporation Limited has sent engines to two islands to solve issued faced in providing electricity. In this regard, the engines were sent to Vilufushi in Thaa Atoll and Thinadhoo in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll.
Fenaka Corporation revealed continuous efforts are being exerted by the corporation to provide the service without interruptions. A 400 kilowatt engine was sent to Vilufushi while a 1 megawatt engine was sent to Thinadhoo, according to Fenaka.
While efforts are exerted by State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) and Fenaka to provide uninterrupted electricity, the administration has recently slashed the electricity tariffs and uniformed the electricity tariffs across Maldives.
