The Ambassador of Maldives to Bangladesh Aishath Shaan Shakir has paid a courtesy call on Vice President of Maldives Faisal Naseem.
At the meeting held at the President's Office, the ambassador and the vice president discussed ongoing priorities at the Maldivian Embassy in Dhaka; some of the consular issues facing Maldivians in Bangladesh.
Furthermore, the ambassador and the vice president discussed the need to explore further avenues for further trade and cooperation with Bangladesh.
