Maldives has attended the Spring Meetings of World Bank-International Monetary Fund (IMF) held in Washington DC.
On behalf of Maldives, Minister of Finance Ibrahim Ameer; Governor of Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) Ahmed Naseer attended the meeting.
The meeting held from 8-16 of April is organized to provide a platform for finance ministers of countries, businessmen from all over Maldives and to hold relevant discussions. As part of the meetings, the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank met Deputy Managing Director of IMF Tao Jung.
Moreover, the Finance Minister addressed the Climate Vulnerable Forum held on the sidelines of the World Bank-International Monetary Fund (IMF) Spring Meetings.
