Manta Air has begun a new domestic route, providing daily, direct service between Velana International Airport (VIA) and Dharavandhoo Airport. The start of flight operations to Dharavandhoo comes with Manta Air's recent addition of a third aircraft added to its fleet.
Speaking to the press, Chief Marketing Officer of Manta Air Ahmed Maumoon said beginning operations to Dharavandhoo is a remarkable achievement for Manta Air.
Manta Air will operate on a pre-published fixed schedule with 3 direct daily flights between Dharavandhoo and VIA, providing 21 flights weekly. However, Ahmed Maumoon revealed although initially 2 flights are operated, it will be increased to 3 flights from April 19 and to four flights in the coming days.
The airline currently operates brand new eco-friendly ATR 72-600 aircraft, with modern and spacious cabin interiors and quiet turboprop engines. Manta Air also announced a very special promotional fare to celebrate the start of the new route. In addition, the airline will also be maintaining the super saver and saver fares for Dharavandhoo as well.
