President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has laid the foundation of the multipurpose hall to be developed in Alifushi School in Raa Atoll.
A special ground breaking ceremony was held to officially inaugurate the project to develop the multipurpose hall. The foundation of the hall was placed by President Solih and the principal of Alifushi School. The ceremony was attended by council members, school teachers, staff, students and parents. During the visit to the school, the president signed in the visitor's book and toured the institution.
According to Alifushi Island Council, the multipurpose hall funded by the government, which cost USD 65,000, will be concluded by mid-2020.
