Minister of Economic Development Fayyaz Ismail reveals efforts are underway to formulate SME policy, revealing the policy will be published in the coming days.
Speaking at the ceremony held to launch the SME Development Finance Corporation Private Limited (SDFC), the economic minister said the policy will enable participation of government's projects easily. Formulating a SME policy is included in the first 100-working day pledge policy of the administration.
Moreover, Minister Fayyaz stated the tax policy will also be enhanced as part of the efforts to develop the economy of the country.
