The State has recorded a revenue of MVR 1.27 billion via Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) in February.
According to statistics of MIRA, the amount received as revenue in February is an increase of 1.8% compared to the revenue of February 2018.
Meanwhile, MIRA stated, a total revenue collection compared to forecast for February 2019 increased 3.4%.
MIRA attributed the increase in revenue to the increase in revenue via Goods and Services Tax (GST), Business Profit Tax (BPT) and Green Tax.
