Ooredoo showcases its services in MWC Barcelona

Ooredoo Maldives has showcased two of its services at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona, Spain. MWC brings together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology from thousands of leading companies across the globe.

This year, Ooredoo Maldives showcased its upcoming Artificial Intelligence powered Digital Care Assistant, Evee, and launched a smart e-Commerce Marketplace Platform, Moolee, which enhances the consumer journey for both buyers and sellers.

Speaking regarding the products, Director of Sales and Branding Hussain Niyaz stated while Moolee is available across Maldives, it will provide solution in the nation which facilitates end to end fulfilment of the entire consumer journey including initial orders, online payments and nationwide delivery of goods. Niyaz expressed initially it will provide online purchase of Ooredoo products and services, as well as utility services adding over the coming months, the platform will enable an e-Commerce Marketplace for a wide range of sellers and buyers of consumer products and services including groceries, electronics, food delivery, health & education services.

The second product showcased was Evee, Ooredoo's AI Powered Digital Care Assistant which transforms customer interactions through Bots on its traditional channels, as well as a multitude of digital channels such as Facebook Messenger, Twitter, Viber, Telegram and WhatsApp for messaging. The AI Bot led interactions are made available through Alexa and Google Assistant for Voice Channels via Smart Home Devices. By utilising Evee, Ooredoo can enable the automation of all customer experiences from inquiries and fulfilment to promotions, for the provision of more effective and faster services, according to Ooredoo.

Ooredoo Maldives also participated in the MWC in Barcelona last year, where it showcased digital innovations such as its popular Ooredoo Next platform, as well as Magey Plan.
