Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has met with senior officials of the US National Security Council.
At the meeting held at the National Security Council in Washington DC, Minister Shahid discussed ongoing cooperation between Maldives and the US in the areas of security and discussed avenues for joint cooperation.
The foreign minister was accompanied in the meetings by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel and Permanent Representative of the Maldives to the UN and Ambassador to the US Ali Naseer Mohamed.
