MPL assures students are not charged for the bus services

Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has revealed it does not differentiate between the bus services provided in Male' City and in atolls.

Speaking to PSM News, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shahid Ali said students from atolls are not charged for the bus trips, similar to the policy implemented in the capital city. The CEO further refuted rumours that students are charged for bus trips in Addu City. He said the bus services provided for students in Addu City are different compared to the public transportation services provided in Male' City.

The CEO of the state-owned company further revealed several efforts are exerted to enhance the bus services provided across the country.
