Foreign Service Institute of Maldives (FOSIM) has awarded Certificates of Completion to the participants of the Young Diplomats Training Programme. Three participants achieved certificates at an event held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid congratulated the participants and FOSIM on the completion of the programme. He further highlighted the importance of FOSIM for the professional development of the Foreign Service.
The Young Diplomats Training Programme is a pilot programme of one year, designed and conducted by FOSIM to recruit and train Foreign Service Officers.
FOSIM was established on January 16, 2014, under the administrative structure of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of promoting professionalism in the foreign service.
