President urges to adapt a healthy lifestyle

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has advised the public to refrain from consuming energy drinks.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the National Symposium on Traditional and Alternative Medicine held at Hotel Jen as part of the 100 day pledges of the administration, President Solih urged the Maldivians to leave behind harmful living habits. The president noted healthy lifestyle is crucial for the development of the country, adding the most important development is the self-development of individuals.

In this regard, the president said unless a healthy lifestyle is not adapted in one's life, such developments are far from achieving. He highlighted Maldivians revolve around many harmful activities, which disrupts the true development of the nation.
