President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has launched the theme for the Guesthouse Symposium 2018. The theme was launched at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
The theme of the Guesthouse Symposium 2018 is Towards Sustainable Tourism. The symposium will be held at Dharubaaruge convention centre in Male’ City on December 29.
The aim of holding the Guesthouse Symposium is to find out challenges faced by guesthouse operators. The symposium has the objective to seek ways to overcome those challenges. It includes seeking ways through which regulations related to tourism can be shaped to better facilitate guest house tourism.
Holding the Guesthouse Symposium is held as part of the first 100-days goals.
