President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Ahmed Sameer as the Minister at the President’s Office.
In addition, the president appointed Hassan Shujau as Minister of State for Home Affairs, Ismail Ali Manik as Minister of State for Finance, Mohamed Ali as Minister of State for National Planning and Infrastructure, Ali Solih as Minister of State for Communication, Science and Technology, Ahmed Riyaz as Minister of State for Education, Mohamed Ahmed as Minister of State for Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture, Ahmed Nasheed as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Ashadh Ali as Minister of State for Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment and Fazna Shakir as Minister of State for Gender, Family and Social Services
The ceremony to present the letters of appointment was held at the President’s Office.
