Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) has decided to contest for all the constituencies in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The decision to contest for all 87 constituencies was made at a party council meeting.
During the meeting, the leadership of the party was handed over to Siyam Mohamed. On August 28, the party leadership was temporarily handed over to the Deputy Leader Ali Mauroof.
Moreover, the plan to contest for all the constituencies was proposed by Siyam during the council meeting, according to MDA.
