Chief Justice Ahmed Abdulla Didi has stated remarkable changes were brought to the judiciary since the establishment of Supreme Court in 2008.
Speaking at a ceremony held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Supreme Court, Chief Justice Ahmed Abdulla Didi highlighted the achievements made in the judiciary during the past years. Furthermore, Ahmed Abdulla Didi spoke on the important role of Supreme Court in concluding trials fair and free.
Noting all verdicts were in accordance with the constitution, the chief justice assured it will be maintained in the future as well. Moreover, he highlighted one of the biggest challenge faced in running the Supreme Court is not getting sufficient budget expressing hope the issue will be solved efficiently in the future.
The ceremony held to celebrate 10 years of Supreme Court was attended by high-level dignitaries of the judicial sector and the government.
