A Maldivian Company has launched Payer; a mobile application targeted to ease the bill payment process.
The application launched by Payer Private Limited is the first ever such mobile application introduced to Maldives. The application provides payment option for multiple services like utilities, mobile bills from one platform.
The application comprises of options to pay for Ooredoo Raastas, Ooredoo bills, Dhiraagu Reload, Lavafoshi, iTunes, Google Play, PlayStation network and Spotify gift cards. The company expressed hope to further introduce new services via the application like utilities payment.
CEO of Payer Private Limited Ali Haris said one main aim of the application is to provide payment services via one platform rather than use separate applications for separate bills. Talking about the upsides of Payer, Ali Haris said notifications will be available for the user once the bill is ready and multiple accounts can be added and grouped making it easier to pay all bills at once.
Haris said in the future the application will track the financial spending of a client, adding Payer offers the convenience of paying for all services via one single platform. He added the biggest aim is to provide wider services in Apps such as AliPay and WeChat Pay in Maldives.
The Payer Application is now available from App Store and Play Store.
