Maldives Association for Travel and Tour Operators (MATATO) has decided to hold its annual general meeting next month. Even though a final date was not announced, MATATO revealed efforts are underway to hold the meeting in November.
During the annual general meeting, MATATO will announce its executive board for the next two years. MATATO has opened until October 31 for nominations for the executive board, while nine members will be elected for the board.
Formed in 2006, MATATO aims to promote Maldives as tourist destination across the world and has participated in several international fairs and exhibitions.
