Vice President of Maldives Abdulla Jihad has stated the administration has targeted to provide a total solution for the housing problem faced by Maldivians. The Vice President made the remark addressing the gathering held at Dharubaruge Convention Centre to inaugurate the master plan of ‘’Hiyaa Accomplished Villimale’ Phase 2’’ project.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Jihad noted it was a priority of the administration to provide a high-quality standard of living for every Maldivian. The vice president highlighted the idea of providing a total solution to address the housing shortage was initiated by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and expressed gratitude to the president on behalf of all Maldivians for his visionary agenda towards the welfare of the community.
The Vice President also underscored the project was initiated to meet the housing needs of the people and the project sought to complement the economic vision and growth of the country. On conclusion, he called upon every Maldivian to vote in the upcoming presidential election; while giving due consideration towards recent developments achieved by the country.
