Hulhumale' Hospital begins MRI services

The government of Maldives has initiated Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services in Hulhumale’ Hospital. The new service at the hospital was initiated by Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim.

Speaking at the ceremony, the health minister noted efforts of the government to upgrade the services provided at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), Dharumavantha Hospital, Kulhudhuffushi Hospital and Addu Tertiary Hospital to international standards. The minister further highlighted the efforts of the government to enhance the health sector of the country by developing the necessary infrastructure and attaining the services of qualified individuals.

Hulhumale’ Hospital said MRI survives will be covered from national healthcare insurance scheme, Aasandha.
