DJA begins seminar on enhancement of civil justice system

Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) has begun a seminar on the enhancement of the civil justice system. The seminar was officially inaugurated by Supreme Court Judge Adam Mohamed Abdulla.

The four-day seminar aims to seek solutions for grievances received by JDA regarding the civil justice system and find ways to deliver justice in a timely manner. A total of 61 participants representing the judiciary including judges and magistrates, officials from JDA, Maldives Judicial Academy and Attorney General's Office in addition to a number of lawyers are taking part in the seminar.

The seminar is held as part of the efforts by DJA, Supreme Court and the Judicial Service Commission to strengthen the judiciary of Maldives.
