Maldives Association for Travel and Tour Operators (MATATO) has promoted Maldives as a travel destination in Malaysia and Russia. In this regard, MATATO participated in 24th International Trade Fair for Tourism and Travel (OTDYKH Leisure) held from September 11 to 13, in Moscow, Russia and PATA Travel Mart 2018 held from September 12 to 14 in Langkawi, Malaysia.
OTDYKH Leisure is the largest international autumn trade fair for tourism in Russia and the CIS and according to an independent survey the number one platform to conclude business. While, PATA Travel Mart (PTM) is Asia Pacific's worldwide travel trade exhibition featuring unparalleled networking and contracting opportunities to help travel and tourism organisations access decision makers, meet new clients, expand their networks, establish new relationships and consolidate existing business partnerships
So far this year, MATATO has participated in 12 international fairs.
