PPM announces rally to showcase support for President Yameen

Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has revealed plans to hold a rally to demonstrate the support of youth for President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

PPM will hold a rally with a vast number of supporters, and that 70% of this rally would consist of youth supporters of PPM, Parliamentary Group Leader of PPM Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik stated speaking at a press conference held by the party.

Highlighting the importance given to youth by the current administration unlike previous administrations, Ahmed Nihan reiterated, that it is during the tenure of President Yameen, that youth empowerment has been pushed to the forefront.
