Maldives has welcomed the one millionth visitor in 2018.
Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) held a special ceremony to celebrate the arrival of the one millionth visitor at Velana International Airport (VIA). The 1 millionth visitor of 2018 arrived on Turkish Airlines Flight Number TK730 to Maldives.
Upon arrival the 1 millionth visitor, Koralp Güner from USA, was received with a traditional welcome by the officials of MMPRC, together with the Ministry of Tourism and representatives of the tourism industry in Maldives.
