No one would be allowed to disrupt peace: Police

Maldives Police Service has stated disruption of peace in the country would not be allowed. The institution issued the statement, in the wake of an altercation that took place near Maldives Monetary Authority. The case is under investigation, according to the police service.
In the statement, the police said the institution will not allow Maldives and especially the capital city to be depicted as dangerous and will not allow anyone the opportunity to create a spirit of criminality in the community.
The police also announced several efforts are underway to find culprits and to decrease the crime rate.
