President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has begun a two-day visit to some islands of Lhaviyani Atoll.
President Yameen has arrived in Naifaru, as part of his visit to Lhaviyani Atoll. Upon arrival, the President was warmly welcomed by the island's community. During this tour, the inaugurated the Lhaviyani Atoll Hospital building and the island's harbour.
Moreover, President Yameen is also scheduled to mark the completion of the shore protection project in Kurendhoo. The president is also scheduled to visit Hinnavaru, and Olhuvelifushi as part of this tour.
