Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency Wang Xiaotao has arrived in Maldives, as a representative of the government of China, to attend the opening ceremony of the Sina-Male' Bridge. Upon arrival to Maldives, Wang Xiaotao was received at the Velana International Airport by Secretary, Bilateral at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure Abdulla Fayaz and Ambassador of Maldives to China Mohamed Faisal.
During his visit, Wang is scheduled to attend an official lunch hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim and visit the sites of some of the development projects in Hulhumale', in addition to attending the opening ceremony of the Sina-Male' Bridge.
Wang is accompanied by a five-member delegation, which includes officials from the China International Development Cooperation Agency and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
