EC publishes final voters list, opens for complaints

Elections Commission of Maldives has published final voters list for the presidential election.
The elections commission said the public can file complaints regarding the final voters list until August 29. The public can only file complaints regarding the registered voting stations during the time frame, according to the electoral body.
The final voters list shows a total of 262,135 Maldivians are eligible to vote in the presidential election. The commission will place 472 ballot boxes across Maldives for the presidential election is scheduled to be held on September 23.
