Founder and CEO of Hologo World Inc. and Teaching Tube Edham Rasheed has revealed there are relatively more opportunities in the technology sector of Maldives for the youth, compared to other regional countries.
Speaking at a panel discussion aired on PSM News, "My Nation, My Future", Edham Rasheed expressed youth have been making the best use of opportunities available in Maldives, adding applications developed by local developers are made available from App Store and Google Store.
During the panel discussion, Edham highlighted the success of the Hologo World, which is an Augmented Reality (AR) based mobile and interactive educational platform, adding the application was developed without any expectations. In this regard, Edham said the application is downloaded by about two thousand people daily, noting the popularity of the app in other countries.
Meanwhile, during the panel discussion, Executive Director at Islanders Group of Companies Mohamed Shamheel highlighted Maldivian youth have achieved remarkably in the information and communications technology sector, in the past couple of years, despite the few facilities available in Maldives.
All panellists expressed there are opportunities in the technology sector for interested individuals.
