Minister of Environment and Energy Thoriq Ibrahim has revealed President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has found a solution for the housing issues faced by thousands of Maldivians.
In a tweet posted replying to the comments made by opposition presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih pledging to solve the housing issues faced by a large population of the country, Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim noted the problems were not solved during the rule of former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom and former President Mohamed Nasheed.
Moreover, the environment minister expressed President Yameen has solved the housing issues which were made to believe impossible to be solved for 33 years. In his tweet, the minister highlighted the social housing projects initiated by the government to solve the housing issues faced by thousands of Maldivians.
