MNU commences 2nd research conference

Maldives has commenced the largest research conference to be held in the country with the submission of 105 research papers.
The second International Conference of the Maldives National University (MNU) on multidisciplinary research began with 105 research papers. Maldives will present 55 research papers while the remaining 50 papers were compiled by experienced researchers across the world.
Addressing the ceremony held to inaugurate the conference, Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim said enhancing research will further develop the education sector of Maldives.
The number of international participants increased this year compared to the previous year, highlighted MNU. In this regard, participants from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Oman, Qatar, New Zealand and Malaysia are attending the conference.
MNU further stated keynote addresses during the conference will be given on topics such as food and science, environment, gender equality and family issues.
