Embassy of Maldives in Sri Lanka has begun a special programme to assist Maldivians residing in Sri Lanka, focused on the social housing scheme initiated by the government.
During the programme, representatives from Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure will provide information about the scheme and assist in filling the necessary paperwork needed to apply for the housing units, according to the embassy. In addition, the embassy revealed visiting technical staff from housing ministry will assist interested Maldivians from the Maldives Educational and Cultural Centre located in Colombo.
