Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has affirmed the re-registration forms will be submitted to the elections commission after verifying the information.
During a press conference, deputy leader of PPM Abdul Raheem Abdulla stated the re-registration forms collected by the party will be submitted to the commission after making sure the forms are valid. Moreover, the deputy leader of the ruling party expressed opposition comments stating forms collected by PPM are not submitted to the elections commission are totally false. Abdul Raheem Abdulla further said some forms have been submitted to the commission, adding it needs time to verify the information.
Meanwhile, he also added PPM is conducting re-registration without prioritising any political ideology.
