Auditor General of Maldives has urged all media outlets to refrain from defaming the institution.
A statement issued by Auditor General's Office stated some media outlets have spread misinformation regarding the institution, advising all media agencies to refrain spreading such information.
Moreover, Auditor General's Office, in the statement, noted the information needed for news and media agnecies will be available from its website, adding if further information are required, it will also be made available under the procedure.
