Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has begun laying the Asphalt Concrete Base (ACB) on the ring road in Male' city.
Tarring the roads will commence as soon as laying the ACB is completed, according to housing ministry. With China Maldives Friendship Bridge nearing completion, housing ministry began bringing necessary changes to the road network in the capital city of Male'.
The government, in its efforts to ease transportation to and from Male' city via the bridge, has designed the ring road project to construct four lanes that mirror the lanes of the bridge. The development of the ring road is progressing rapidly and effectively, the housing ministry revealed.
