Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) and High Rise Private Limited have launched Maldives Showcase in Sri Lanka.
High Rise stated the fair aims to promote Maldivian tourism and economy in neighbouring Sri Lanka. A total of 40 local ventures are participating in the event which will see over 15,000 meetings held at Taj Samudra in Colombo, according to High Rise. Organisers plan on holding similar promotional events across the globe following the outcome of Maldives Showcase in Sri Lanka.
Maldives Showcase is an annual event that focuses on tourism, trade, talent and taste. During the event, Maldives-based stakeholders and professionals from those sectors have the opportunity to come together with their peers from the host country for networking sessions and other promotional activities.
