Islamic University Maldives (IUM) has explored opportunities available in Riphah International University in Pakistan. The discussions were headed by Vice Chancellor of IUM Khaleela Abdul Sattar and Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University Dr. Aanis Ahmed.
During the meeting, discussions focused on exploring opportunities for Maldivians, opportunities available to develop IUM in regards to enhancing the administrative system of the university. Both universities also discussed enhancing Islamic principles and traditions. Moreover, under the agreement, Riphah International University will provide assistance in research programmes and assist in enhancing research abilities.
Riphah International University is a private University established in Islamabad, chartered by the Federal Government of Pakistan in 2002. The university was established with a view to produce professionals with Islamic moral and ethical values.
