Ministry of Education has started training programmes in efforts familiarise the users of Maldives Education Information system (MEMIS) with the latest updates and features.
Speaking about the programmes held to familiarise the users with the changes brought to the system, Head of Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Education Aminath Namza revealed the system will keep upgrading and adding more features with the time and that it is essential to train the users of the system for its efficient use.
The ministry conducted similar programmes across the country in last year as well and according to the ministry, the 3 week programme will be organised and held in collaboration with the Community System Foundation Company of Sri Lanka.
MEMIS was inaugurated in 2017 by the Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Shiham to keep record of the student studying in Maldives, and to empower teachers to manage their classroom activities effectively and to provide results to students and their families.
