The management of Public Service Media (PSM) has held discussions with the embassy of China in Maldives to provide journalists and technical staff of PSM with more training opportunities. The discussions held at the Chinese Embassy were headed by Managing Director of PSM Ibrahim Khaleel and the Ambassador of China to Maldives Zhang Lizhong.
During the meeting, discussions focused on providing journalists and production team staff with more training opportunities, increase the amount of visits to explore cities in China, opportunity to learn the culture and traditions, in addition to producing documentaries and other cultural programmes. Moreover, discussions were also held on giving the opportunity to Chinese national media and other media outlets to explore Maldives and producing documentaries and programmes related to culture and tradition of Maldives. Furthermore, organising activities and events to showcase Chinese talents in Maldives were also focused during the discussions.
While the meeting was headed by the Managing Director Ibrahim Khaleel, Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Ikram Abdul Latheef, Chief Operating Officer Mohamed Saeed and Director, E-Commerce and Marketing Ibrahim Nasreen also attended the meeting.
The Chinese Embassy has attached a close relationship with the management and staff of PSM while providing various training opportunities for the staff of PSM.
