Maldives Media Institute (MMI) has begun a training programme in Fuvahmulah city for individuals who are interested in starting a career in journalism and mass communication.
Participants will be taught news writing, presenting, photography, and video editing, as part of the training programme. Further, out of the 12 participants, the best 5 will be shortlisted and given the opportunity to work in the media centre of Fuvahmulah managed by Public Service Media (PSM), according to MMI.
MMI has conducted similar training programmes in Addu city and has revealed it aims to conduct more training programmes in various parts of the country. The training programme conducted in Fuvahmulah will conclude on July 14.
