Nominee evaluations for SATA commences in Bhutan

The last evaluations of the nominees for the most prestigious tourism award in the region, the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) has commenced in Bhutan. The last evaluations of the nominees for SATA is underway in Paro of Bhutan, according to High Rise Private Limited.
The nominations for SATA awards held this year will be judged by experts in the tourism industry from India, Sri Lanka and Maldives. The awards will be presented in 50 categories and while 50% of the marks are awarded from the judging panel, the remaining 50% is earned through online voting. The online voting will be open till the end of July.
Nominees from each country would be judged by their country. Nominee evaluations were first commenced in Maldives on June 19, and so far, nominees from Sri Lanka, India and Nepal have been evaluated. Awards will be presented at the award ceremony held from November 14-15 in Mumbai of India.
SATA was launched in 2016 by the Maldives-based event management company to encourage and raise service standards within the regions of the Tourism industry.
