STO adds two new landing crafts to its fleet

State Trading Organisation (STO) has added two more landing crafts to its fleet in an attempt to increase the capacity to carry goods.
The operation of the two new landing crafts was officially commenced by Managing Director of STO Ahmed Shaheer.
The two landing crafts will have the capacity to transport a combined load of 450 metric tonnes, according to STO.
Speaking at the ceremony held to inaugurate the landing crafts, Managing Director Shaheer noted STO can transport goods to regional outlets with ease following the addition of the landing crafts to its fleet. The landing crafts will be operated in accordance with ISO standard, revealed Shaheer.
Moreover, STO said it aims to cut down the amount spent on transportation per year.
