Public Service Media (PSM) has launched the first ever 4K quality channel in Maldives. Television Maldives (TVM) 4K channel was launched by the Managing Director of PSM Ibrahim Khaleel.
FIFA will broadcast ten matches of FIFA World Cup 2018 in Ultra High-Definition or 4K quality which will be broadcast to public in the same quality by PSM.
Addressing the ceremony held to launch the channel, Managing Director of PSM Ibrahim Khaleel highlighted TVM began High-Definition broadcast last year. The Managing Director also noted the main objective of PSM launching a 4K channel is to deliver FIFA World Cup matches in the highest quality possible.
Furthermore, Khaleel stated the company aims to provide the services of PSM in good quality to all platforms.
