Staff talks between MNDF and Indian Army concludes

The third round of staff talks between Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) and Indian army has successfully concluded. The meeting held in the Coast Guard Building of Maldives was focused on discussing ways of supporting each military in defense and security and to discuss the joint training programmes.
On behalf of MNDF, Brigadier General Ahmed Shaheed led the meeting and Rear Admiral of the Headquarters Intergrade Defense Staff MD Suresh led the delegation from the Indian army.
Over the past two years, two such meetings have been held between the two countries.
