Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has opened registration for a leadership training programme with renowned leadership coach Dr. Michael Y. Brenner.
Organised jointly with McQuire Rens and Jones Sri Lanka, the programme will be held at the Champa Central Hotel in Male' on July 12 and registration will be open till July 7. Themed as 'Becoming an Influential Leader', the one-day seminar is targeted towards executives and for those at managerial and leadership roles. During the training programme, participants will explore characteristics of influential leaders and the skills and practices that they employ for effective leadership.
As the President of Right Chord Leadership, Dr. Brenner has helped busy leaders cultivate more effective teams, more creative cultures and more productive employees. He has worked with several high profile companies, including Sap, AVC, Lockheed Martin and Boeing. MATATO has a long term agreement with McQuire Rens and Jones to bring their premium programmes to the Maldives.
Since 2012, MATATO and McQuire Rens and Jones have jointly organised more than six training programmes in the Maldives, including one-day programmes on Telephone Etiquette and Customer Service and Social Media Marketing. An exclusive training programme on women in leadership was also held in March.
MATATO has also hosted the first ever human capacity building programme conducted in the Maldives by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).
