Ministry of Education has signed with Emilio Aguinaldo College of Philippines to further explore and provide opportunities for Maldivian students. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Shiham and President of Emilio Aguinaldo College Dr. Jose Paulo E. Campos.
The agreement will further enhance opportunities for Maldivian students, Education Minister Aishath Shiham stated speaking at the ceremony. The Education Minister highlighted various initiatives of the government to offer better opportunities for students seeking higher education.
Meanwhile, President of Emilio Aguinaldo College Dr. Jose Paulo E. Campos noted the college will continue to assist the advancement of the education sector of Maldives. Emilio Aguinaldo College will offer a scholarship inclusive of all tuition fees starting from pre-medicine courses to doctorate level courses every five years and offer 10% discount to 10 students, as part of the agreement which was signed for a 5 year period.
Currently, 23 Maldivian students are studying MBBS in Emilio Aguinaldo College.
